Evergreen rosettes of green having maroon-tipped leaves on a strong stem that branches out into a low mound. Drought-tolerant, aeoniums prefer protection from midday sun especially inland. Color is most intense in stronger light. Long-lasting yellow, pollinator-friendly inflorescence is followed by the death of the primary head, but side-shoots remain to carry on the show.
