Achillea Terracotta is a tough plant, tolerating drought and often found on disturbed terrain, but appears delicate with ferny foliage and flat-topped flower clusters.  Yarrow is a spreading warm-season perennial with 2-to-3-foot upright flower stalks.  It may spread vigorously in the right conditions.  Pollinators and other beneficials are attracted by the long-blooming flowers.  Yarrow grows best in full sun in well-drained soil.  Landscape uses include Wildlife Gardens, Pollinator Gardens, Meadow and Naturalized Gardens and are a favorite in Cottage Gardens. It's an attractive cut flower and serves as a nectar plant for Butterflies.
