Aeonium haworthii - 'Kiwi'

Variegated (seasonally),  tricolor green, yellow, pink

Pot sizes: 4" tall

Seasonally brightly variegated tricolor rosettes of green and yellow with hot pink margins, when grown in bright sun. Bluegreen in shade. Best protected from hot midday sun inland. It makes a very attractive and showy plant for sunny sills and succulent gardens. Over time, it grows tall, bare stems, but it takes well to pruning and replanting to keep it compact. Vivid coloration varies seasonally as in photos below.

Size:  to 1'h; 2'w
Light: full sun on the coast to shade inland.
Soil: Well-drained, or regular potting soil is ok.
Water: Weekly; less often during summer dormancy. Allow to dry between waterings.
Bloom: cream; monocarpic (dies after bloom). Unblooming branches continue to grow.
Other notes: Cut off and reroot if the bottom of stem dies. Intolerant of hard frost.
Uses: container, landscape, rock garden.
