Alogyne huegelii is a fast-growing shrub, native to Australia and selected by the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum. It blooms almost continuously throughout the year starting from mid spring and is heat and cold tolerant to 25 degrees. Its large, light blue silky flowers have delicate petals and yellow stamens. Best in full sun to part shade with occasional summer water. Best if cut back twice a year to help maintain its shape and increase foliage density.
