     Amaryllis belladonna - white and pink, 'Naked Lady'

Type: Bareroot Bulbs - packaged by weight: 2 pound minimum; 6  mixed-size bulbs.

Individual fully developed plants form solid colonies with green, strappy leaves in Spring that die back as the weather dries out. They are called "naked" ladies because they bloom only when they have no leaves in the Fall. Fragrant. Very reliable early fall color! Multiple bulbs are included; best to plant immediately. Lovely pink with dark pink veining, white and yellow throat. 

Note:  Set with upper 1/3 of bulb exposed.  To boost initial growth, mix a slow-release organic fertilizer with higher relative 'P' and lower 'N' (N:P:K) into the soil directly below the bulb.

Size: 2-4' tall flower stalks (depending on light); 3 ft. spread (leaves).

Light: Full sun to part shade

Soil: Well-drained preferred

Water: Low; no irrigation needed once established

Bloom: Pink with dark pink veining, white and yellow throat in mid-summer to fall.
