These are fast-growing and vigorous hybrid ruby-red beets, whose sweet flavor offers taste perfection and a very concentrated flavor. For full flavor, harvest at any stage of maturity, either as babies (1-2 inches in diameter) or fully sized-up. Tender young tops are flavorful as steamed greens. We are selling this variety in 6-packs this season.

Planting/Spacing: 3-4 inches apart
Days to Maturity: 55 days
Hardiness: Cold tolerant; evenly moist soil preferred. Beets do not transplant well, so extreme care should be taken when putting them into the ground. Transplant with as much container soil attached to roots as possible.
