Chiogga beets are the Italian Heirloom candystripe beet. When cut, beautiful red and  white interior rings are revealed that look like peppermints. Chiogga have delicious green tops and are the roots are packed with nutrition, high in fiber, potassium folic acid and the antioxidant, betacyanin. They are delicious roasted, steamed and pickled. These are one of our two extra special beet varieties this season; delish and possibly the most beautiful root vegetable on the planet!

Days to Maturity: 55 days
Hardiness: Beets do not transplant well, so extreme care should be taken when putting them into the ground. Transplant with as much container soil attached to roots as possible.
