China Aster:  Old-fashioned, single-flowered China asters will make your garden come alive with cool colors like red, pink, purple, and white. Flowers are large, generally measuring between three and five inches across with single, full-double, or semi-double rows of petals.  Each flower grows on a separate stem, unlike the clustered blooms of native aster varieties. Their stems are sturdy and can reach up to three feet tall at maturity, make them perfect for attractive and long-lasting cut flower arrangements.

Light: Full sun to part shade.
Size: Grow 24"–30" tall, 12"–18" wide.
Soil: Do best in moist, organically rich and well-drained soil.
Water: Medium.  Plants should never completely dry out.
Bloom: Midsummer to fall
Other notes: Attract bees and butterflies.
Uses: Flower beds and cut flowers.
