These mild and sweet golden-orange beets are delicious roasted. They are very popular with both chefs and home cooks for their delicate flavor and color (they don't bleed color when cooked). Tender young tops are flavorful as steamed greens. These are one of our two extra special beet varieties this season; delish!

Planting/Spacing: 3-4 inches apart
Days to Maturity: 55 days
Hardiness: Cold tolerant; evenly moist soil preferred. Beets do not transplant well, so extreme care should be taken when putting them into the ground. Transplant with as much container soil attached to roots as possible.
