This California native perennial herb forms a small bush of hairy, mint-scented foliage, often grown primarily for this fragrance. Used by Native Americans for medicinal purposes, it is also commonly steeped for tea. A pollinator, Coyote Mint sports pink/lavender blooms in the summer.
