Purple Clarkia is a native annual herb that tends to grow in open, grassy or shrubby places, at elevations from 0-500 feet. Native to our Central Coast area, it was formerly known as "Purple Godetia". As with all clarkias, Purple Clarkia is an effective draw for butterflies and bees.
