Long Purple eggplants are also known as "Fingerling" eggplants. A Japanese variety, they add beautiful color to the garden, growing reliably to 8-10 inches long. Plants are prolific, and the fruit has a very creamy interior. There are few seeds the the skin is quite thin, making it easy to cook. This is an excellent container eggplant variety. 

Sun Requirements: Full sun
Planting/Spacing: 24 inches apart (2-3 feet tall)
Days to Maturity: 70-80 days
Hardiness: It is vital to not plant eggplant outdoors until it is consistently possible to keep plants warm (60+ at night, 70+ during the day). Fertilize monthly.
