 Rhipsalis baccifera - 'Mistletoe Cactus'

Rhipsalis baccifera is a true spineless cactus. Epiphytic native of Central and South America, the Caribbean and Florida and where it anchors harmlessly to trees. Reflecting its native habitat, it is happiest with bright, indirect sunlight and more moisture than a desert cactus. A remarkable plant that grows upward until eventually weight of stems gracefully drape. Indoors or outdoors.

Size: to 2' w x 3' long
Light:  bright, indirect light, protect from harsh overhead sun.
Soil: Well-drained.
Water:  Weekly, but allow to dry to prevent rot. Reduce water in Winter.
Bloom: Spring, with showy white berries
Uses: container, hanging container; bright indoor or protected outdoor
