Brassica oleracea - Nero Toscana Heirloom Kale

This heirloom kale is a cousin to Lacinato and is a nutritious, Italian variety that adds heartiness to soups, stews, and grain dishes.  The raw leaves are best tender for salads when they are harvested young. As the plant matures, flavor deepens and becomes heartier for cooking. This kale will cross over seasonally.

Days to Maturity: 62 days

Hardiness: Well-drained soil preferred, but super hardy!
