"French Perfume" lavender is an award-winning new cultivar, with this just our third season growing it. It's a wonderfully aromatic variety that features compact plants and was bred by Dutch seed producers. This herbaceous perennial blooms the first season, but comes into fullest flower by the second summer. FLowers are deep purple in color and velvety in texture. Wonderful for scented florets when harvested just as they begin to open; wonderful for aromatic sachets when air-dried. Plants should be actively shaped at the end of the bloom season.
