Shiso is a new product for us this season. The flavor is described as a combination of cinnamon, mint, and clove, with overtones of cumin. It can be substituted for basil pesto with noodle dishes. It is also called "Japanese basil" and "beefsteak plant". These plants also attract pollinators and are container-friendly.

Hardiness: Moderate (shade needed if very hot)
