Golden Lupine is the official flower for the city of Davis (near Sacramento). Amongst the more common blue lupine, this bright yellow native really stands out. The upright 10-inch spikes boast masses of golden color. This plant is deer resistant, attracts the 3 Bs, and is drought tolerant. It is also tolerant of any type of soil. Establish it early, with our mild winters, for a stupendous spring bloom next year!
