This heirloom variety of cantaloupe thrives in heat and humidity, and is high-yielding. Flavor is sweet and holds well; the seed cavity is quite small. Imperial 45 has outstanding keeping quality, in case of multiple fruits harvested at the same time. Melons are quite drought tolerant, once plant is established.

Planting/Spacing: 2-3 feet apart.
Days to Maturity: 85-87 days
Hardiness: Note: Melon roots are very sensitive; take care when transplanting.
