Snow White (Nemophila menziesii) is a low growing, spreading annual forb with scalloped leaves often showing small random white spots.  A mass of 1" to-2" pure white flowers covers the 8" to 12" mound of foliage for a showy Spring bloom. Mix with other colorful low-growing flowering Natives and splashy poppies.

Soil: Snow White can grow on light sandy soils, but prefers soil enriched with manure or compost which is well drained.

Bloom: Snow White flowers in late winter where temperatures are moderate, and the plant blooms until late spring to early summer.
Other notes: Snow White is an excellent container plant, grown as a ground cover, or massed as border plants or in drifts in annual gardens.
