Salvia clevelandii 'Winifred Gilman' is the archetypal Salvia clevelandii. It's an upright shrub 3-5 ft tall & wide with small pale green, wrinkled and aromatic leaves that bear a single golf ball size flower cluster of a deep blue-violet color at each shoot tip. This California Native comes from the inland foothills and slopes from San Diego to Baja California.
