This salvia is a low-growing, woody-based perennial, native to Mexico. The plant features small, narrow silvery-green leaves offset by true-blue flowers. It blooms from mid-spring to fall, and the flowers grow on terminal clusters above the foliage. It's a magnet for butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer ignore Germander Sage. This salvia responds well to deadheading.
