Allium cepa - German Leeks 'Striesen'
Size: 4-inch square; 3+ plants per container
Striesen leeks are strong growers with tender white stalks and the flavor of sweet, mild onions. These leeks can be harvested and enjoyed as slim babies, OR allowed to mature to full size and harvested with a garden fork.

Planting/Spacing: Plant small plants deeply to get long-shanked leeks (tips sticking up just 2 inches above ground level). Plant 4-6 inches apart
Days to Maturity: 110 days
Hardiness: Can be grown year-round
