    Daylilies have been referred to as the “perfect perennial” because of its numerous qualities prized by gardeners: its showy and fragrant flowers, its vibrant colors (in this case, bright yellow), its drought tolerance and climate adaptability, and its low care requirements. Daylilies attract pollinators. The name ‘daylily’ originates from the fact that each flower typically lasts no more than 24 hours.

    Size: Grows 1-5 feet in height, and 1 to 2 feet in spread.     
    Light: Daylilies do best in sun to partial shade.
    Soil: Daylilies do best in well-drained soil that can stay consistently moist
    Water: Moderate water requirement

    Other notes: Very adaptable to environment
    Uses: Garden pollinator; Excellent for beds, borders, edging, patios, and containers.
