Epiphyllum 'Padre' is pure pink! Originally from Central and South American rainforests, this hybridized tropical cactus prefers bright, indirect sunlight and more regular water than a desert cactus. When mature, it blooms in the late spring, and likes to be somewhat root-bound. This makes a great hanging plant in the shade. To maximize flowering, water occasionally with 1/2-strength high-phosphorus (labelled 'Bloom') fertilizer in February/March.

Note: Heading into seasonal dormancy. Water sparingly

Soil: Well-drained.

Water:  Allow to dry between waterings.

Bloom: Shades of pink, fuchsia and white, very showy. Spring.
