Grevillea lanigera 'Mt. Tamboritha' - Low Growing Grevillea

Grevillea lanigera is a perennial  low-spreading shrub 1 foot tall by 4-5 feet wide. It is  usually used as a ground cover. It has crowned bright green leaves with flat stems that bear clusters of spidery, slender curled flowers in cream and rose-pink at the ends of the branchlets.  An Australian native, it is accustomed to our summer dry climate. 

Herbaceous Perennial

Size: Grows 1 foot in height with a spread of 4-5 feet.     
Light: Full sun to light shade 
Soil: Best in neutral to slightly acidic and well draining or on a slope
Water: Low water requirement 
Bloom:  White to bright rose-pink flowers, blooms fall to spring
Other notes:  Deer resistant. Hardy to moderate frost down to 18-20 degrees F for a short period.
Uses: Wildlife garden, butterfly garden, xeriscape.
