Brassica napus - Siberian Kale

Siberian Kale is an Heirloom kale originally introduced by Russian traders. It is delicious in soups, stews and sautes, or braised with garlic and olive oil, or sliced thinly for salads. This is the kale for you if you prefer more tender leaves than the average kale. These plants will grow up to 3 feet tall, and harvesting should begin when the plants have 6 - 8 leaves. A new product for us last fall, this particular kale received rave reviews.

Days to Maturity: 60 days
Hardiness: Very hardy; frost-tolerant.
