Kale - Gourmet Purple Moon

Brassica oleracea sabellica - Gourmet Purple Moon Kale 

Pot size: 4-inch square, deep

This beautiful frilled and ruffled kale has rich purple leaves. Its flavor is mild enough to be perfect for salads. The leaves are most flavorful/ tender when they are harvested young. This kale can cross over seasonally; frost can actually improve flavor! Need to water deeply and this will be a prolific producer.

Planting/Spacing: 12 inches apart
Days to Maturity: 68-70 days
Hardiness: Well-drained soil preferred, but super hardy!
