Liriope muscari - Blue Lilyturf

Easy to grow, clump-forming, evergreen ground cover or edging around perennial or shrub borders. Vibrant yellow stripes brighten the dark green, arching, grass-like foliage. Stiff stems bear tight spikes of tiny blue or white bells, similar in appearance to grape hyacinth. The plant boasts colorful fall foliage, and a long summer and fall season of bloom. Cut old leaves down to the ground in spring to encourage fresh foliage. The blooms attract bees and butterflies, and it is deer resistant, and drought tolerant.

Sun: Full sun or partial shade
Soil: Moderately fertile, preferable acid, moist but well-drained soil
Water: Medium water requirement. 
Bloom: Blooms in Summer and Fall.  
Uses: Lily Turf is often used as a ground cover, as well as for edging.
