Lupinus regalis - 'Morello Cherry' Lupine

Morello Cherry Lupine is an absolute stunner for your garden and a new product this season for us. It features deep cherry keels: absolutely erect 16-inch spikes of cranberry-colored blooms. This variety of lupine is easy to grow and self-sows. Flowers attract pollinators as well as admiring neighbors. 

Perennial small bush (in our zones)

Size: 36"–45" tall, 18-24 " spread
Light: Full sun to partial shade (does not do well is hot afternoon sun)

Soil: Prefers well-drained and slightly acidic

Water: Moderate
Bloom: Late spring to summer; deep cherry red spikes of blooms

Other Notes and Uses: These make stunning color statements planted amongst other flowering shrubs; excellent for borders and cottage gardens; not ideal for cutting.
