Organum vulgare hirtum - White Flowered Greek Oregano

This traditional full-flavored variety is generally considered the best strain for culinary use. Called the “pizza herb”, it dries well. Incredibly fragrant; does well in containers, as is drought tolerant. Just as excellent for drying as fresh.

Spacing: 12 inches apart (will spread after 1st yr)
Days to Maturity: 80 days
Hardiness: Tolerates light frost; prune fully down after/at blooming. Perennial if given good drainage. Deer resistant,  drought tolerant.
