The California Wild Rose is a must have addition to any garden highlighting California native plants.  Pink, magenta and white open-faced roses nestle in shiny green leaves.  Its rounded, mounded, spreading form can either be manicured to fit in a small garden space, or left to spread and grow in large spaces.  This is an excellent hedge plant that serves esthetically and as a wildlife food source attracting butter and other pollinators while in bloom, and birds in fall when rosehips occur.
