Sandbar Willow, native to northern, central and southern California is a slender leafed tree found along seeps, streams and other wetland communities.  This relatively fast-growing winter deciduous willow with creamy white flowers prefers shade and its feet near or in water.  Sandbar and Arroyo willow are frequently found growing along each other along roadside seeps and streams along the Central Coast.
