Salvia greggii 'Smoken Lavender'

A variety of Autumn Sage, Smokin Lavender is a favorite for its showy light lavender blooms, which flower from June to October. This small deciduous shrub is native to northern Mexico and western/central Texas. Flowers are two-lipped, and thus especially attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. The leaves are highly fragrant. Deer tend to avoid this salvia. Has better winter hardiness than species plants. It is drought-tolerant.
