Big Swing is the winner of the most intense blue flower contest! This hybrid produces lots of attractive, strong, branching spikes that rise to about 2 feet above the handsome 4 X 4-foot foliage mound, flaunting those electric sirens of sapphire from Spring through Fall! The leaves are densely clumped, big and velvety, almost tropical in appearance. This salvia should be cut back in winter. As with most salvias, Big Swing is a magnet for birds (especially hummingbirds), bees, and butterflies, and is deer resistant.
