Shirley's Creeper is NOT a slow-growing sage bush (in spite of its name), nor does it always grow fairly low to the ground when mature. It depends on the hybrid grower. This variety is believed to be a Black Sage (S. mellifera) hybrid.  It grows to a large dense sprawling or mounding sage 2-3' H x 4-6' W with white flowers against dark green foliage. Very fragrant. This salvia is challenging to propagate; we're pleased to be able to offer it this time.
