'Estella Purple' is a salvia bred specifically for containers (1.5-2ft. tall only). Early blooming, these weather tolerant plants have spires of gorgeous, deep purple blossoms, Plants have a neat, rounded habit. They are tolerant of hot weather and pest-free. The glowing, intense color lasts from spring through fall, and are bumblebee and hummingbird favorites. 

Perennial flowering low shrub (in our zones)

Light: Prefers full sun

Soil: Prefers well-drained soil; will tolerate many soils

Water: Moderate to low, but thrives in mild humidity areas (fog!)

Bloom: Grape- colored blooms from spring to the frost of late fall

Other Notes and Uses: Ideal for planting en masse in beds and borders or for tucking into containers and cottage garden designs. Long-lasting blooms make them ideally pollinator-friendly.
