Sedum dendroideum - Tree Stonecrop

This durable "filler" is hardly your typical hens-and-chicks sedum. A succulent perennial shrub, native to Mexico.  The leaves are bright green, curved, easily confused with S. praealtum.  S. dendroideum blunter leaves and more of a tendency to red margins under stress, which is considered desirable.  Profuse yellow star-shaped blossoms put on a lovely show in late winter to early spring, very attractive to both bees and hummingbirds; deer and rodent resistant. Highly drought-tolerant.

Size: to 4' w x 3' h
Light: full sun to part shade
Soil: Well-drained.
Water:  Very little water, to no water on coast if in the ground. Allow to dry between waterings.
Bloom: Profuse yellow stars in Spring
Uses: container, landscape, bonsai
