Franchi snow peas are refreshingly crisp and sweet, and so wonderfully year-round in our climate. They can be eaten raw or stir-fried. They should be picked frequently, when the pods are fully formed but still flat with tiny immature peas inside. Note: if you have birds looking for tasty treats in your garden, please net or wire trellis-cover your tender starts up to about 2 inches tall. The blossoms from this variety are especially beautiful; a low trellis is recommended to feature that.
