Anisodontea x 'Tara's Cape Mallow'

Anisodontea x Tara's Cape Mallow, is a cross between mallows native to South Africa.   It is a large, 6-8 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide upright shrub with large, lobed leaves and pink hibiscus like flowers with deeper-colored centers.  It prefers full sun, well-draining soil, tolerates low water and is hardy to 20 degrees.   The foliage is lusher than many mallows and it can be pruned into a low patio tree.
