Dense rosettes of fuzzy leaves, almost resembling culinary sage, makes Lamb's Ear a popular plant for children’s and sensory gardens. Flowers shoot up on tall silvery stems mid-summer. This plant makes a nice edging or ground cover in a mixed planting. It is drought and deer resistant. 

Evergreen Ground Cover

Size:  To 1.5’ high, spreads by runners
Light:  Full sun or light shade
Soil:  Prefers well-drained soil
Water:  Low to moderate; can tolerate some drought; don’t overwater
Flowers:  Purplish flowers on stalks spring and summer, often removed to
keep the planting uniform, but are nice in arrangements
Uses:  Edging, mixed plantings, ground cover. As previously mentioned, a real favorite with kids due to soft texture.
Other notes:  Heavy rain and frost may cause plants to collapse, but they
will recover
