This classic American watermelon is a monster! It has a slightly oblong shape with black-green rind covering bright red, crisp flavorful flesh. Dating back to the 1950’s, the gray-black seeds are perfect for seed-spitting contests. Vines are vigorous. Black Diamonds are especially fun to grow as a family project because the melons can top 50 lbs.
